Academy is Temporarily CLOSED

(Until Further Notice)

Under the requirements of the Emergency Executive Order enacted by Governor Walz, NVBA is required to pause all in-person operations for a period of 4 weeks. Because of this, the Academy is required to CLOSE beginning at 11:59PM on Friday, November 20.  At this time, we expect to re-open for business on Monday, December 21.  We will post any updates that may arise.  Please STAY SAFE, and we truly wish you all the best as we try to get through these unprecedented times.

Here are some things to note upon arriving at the Academy:

Who is Allowed in the Facility:  No one other than athletes participating in training is allowed into our facility. This will help us meet capacity numbers more efficiently.
Equipment:  Players must use their own bat and helmet
Hand Sanitizer and Hand Washing:  Hand sanitizer is available to use at the Academy. Additionally, we remind you to wash hands vigorously for 20 seconds often to help prevent the spread of germs.
PPE: Everyone entering the facility MUST wear a facemask in accordance with Governor’s mandate. (Must bring your own mask)
Social Distancing: Many steps have been taken to ensure social distancing in the facility: staggering class times, minimizing group sizes, utilizing/reorganizing all of our cages, all in an effort to safely keep 6 feet of distance.
Restrooms: We request that all athletes and customers please refrain from using the restroom unless absolutely necessary. The more we can reduce use in these high touch areas, the safer they will be.

FACEMASK POLICY:

The Governor has announced that beginning July 25th, facemasks are required in all public places.  This includes the NVBA facility.  We will require EVERYONE to wear facemasks upon entering the facility and while you are moving around to your cage area.  Once you are in your assigned cage you can remove your mask.  You will need to put the mask back on any time you are leaving the training area.  Please arrive to the facility wearing a mask

Beginning June 15th – Until Further Notice

EVERYONE ENTERING THE FACILITY IS REQUIRED TO WEAR A FACEMASK PER GOVERNOR’S MANDATE.  (ATHLETES MAY TAKE MASKS OFF WHEN IN CAGES, BUT MUST WEAR THEM AT ALL OTHER TIMES WHILE MOVING ABOUT THE FACILITY.)
